Fire-Rated steel doors play a vital role in keeping people safe and minimizing property damage during a fire. Labeled fire doors can have a rating of up to 3 hours, meaning they can control the spread of fire and smoke for that length of time. Metal fire doors are an economical alternative to wood fire doors when more than a 20-minutes is required. Steel is the only door material that can deliver a 3-hour fire-rating due to the non-combustible hydraulic materials used in its manufacture. Aluminum, hydraulic material and the metal sheet are used in manufacturing,which contribute to its heat resistance.

After the production of the Exit door, it undergoes certain tests. Each tool used in its manufacture is tested.
